Sabinsa’s Boswellin® super reported in Japanese study to show improvement in knee pain

A study evaluating the effects of Sabinsa’s Boswellin® Super (BSR) on knee pain reduction was recently published in the European Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (2016, Volume 3, Issue 10, 293-298): The Effect of Boswellin Super on Knee Pain in Japanese Adults: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial.

Boswellin® Super (BSR), a standardized extract from the gum resin of B. serrata containing Boswellic acids was evaluated for its role in musculoskeletal health in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial. Healthy subjects with reported knee pain were assigned to receive either BSR or placebo for 8 weeks. Compared with baseline, the subjects consuming BSR showed significant improvements in pain management. This indicates Boswellin® Super may play a vital role in alleviating knee pain.
